Crucial Pro Overclocking Edition DDR5 Memory Overview
Taking a first look at the memory it really has this sleek and sophisticated look to it. As I mentioned we have the new white version of the memory which has a matte white heatspreader. The PCB of the memory is still black though, I would have loved to have seen a white PCB here.
On the main side of the heatspreaders there is a large Crucial logo in a grey color, again a very sleek look.
Flipping over to the back there is text that says “Crucial DDR5 Pro” in the same grey color and there is a sticker with all of the kit’s information on it. As a reminder this is the CP2K16G60C36U5W kit, which is a 32GB (2x16GB) kit that runs at 6000 MHz with timings of 36-38-38-80 at 1.35V.
This is non-RGB memory, which I think a lot of people will appreciate. The top-edge of the memory sports a small thin strip of metal between the two heatspreaders. This gives the memory a clean look, but I would have liked to have seen a thicker piece of metal here with the Crucial logo.
