XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE Graphics Card Review

The Radeon RX 7900 GRE is a rather interesting release from AMD. It was actually released back in 2023 before the RX 7700 XT or RX 7800 XT as the “Golden Rabbit Edition” in China and other select markets. It essentially is a cut-down version of the Radeon RX 7900 XT. So it is based on the same Navi 31 GPU, but with only 80 Compute Units, so will give you 5120 stream processors. The memory has also been cut-down from 20GB to 16GB it is also slower 18 Gbps (compared to 20 Gbps) memory. The Radeon RX 7900 GRE finally made its way to North American markets in 2024 and today we are going to put it through the paces and see if it is worth picking up in 2024.

Special thanks to AMD for providing us with the XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE Graphics Card to review.
