Patriot Viper Elite 5 Overview
Taking a first look at the Viper Elite 5 DDR5 memory we have a white-themed designed with black accents. The heatspreaders are mainly white, while the actual PCB of the modules is black. Currently Patriot is only offering the Elite 5 in this white colorway.
On each heatspreader there is a black Viper Gaming logo towards one end, and then “VIPER” text on the other end. This “VIPER” text is actually part of the RGB diffuser. Adding these little touches of black actually make these modules quite attractive as they do have a black PCB.
Talking about the diffuser it goes along the entire top of each module and will allow the eight RGB LEDs below to shine through. At the end you will find another Viper logo.
Flipping the modules over you’ll find a sticker with all of your information including the model, capacity, speed, etc. As a reminder this is the PVER548G60C42KW kit, which is a 48GB kit (2 x 24GB), running at 6000 MHz with timings of 42-42-42-82 at 1.35V.
