Patriot Viper Venom Overview
As we take a look at the memory it has a pretty sleek look. The heatspreaders themselves are mostly black with a bit of silver towards the end. Using these more neutral colors and it is going to be easy for you to match this memory up with most motherboards.
On one end, a bold red Viper logo caught my eye, while on the other side, the word “Viper” was emblazoned in a clean, modern font. The contrast in colors was striking, and I found myself admiring the modules from every angle.
Flipping the modules over we have the same design, but there is a sticker on each letting you know the model number, speed, capacity, etc. As a reminder this is the PVV532G720C34K kit which is a 32GB kit (2x16GB) running at 7200 MHz with timings of 34-42-42-84 at 1.45V.
Patriot sent us over the non-RGB version of the memory so we don’t have a clear diffuser on the top of the memory, but rather a black piece of plastic with the Viper logo in the center. For those wondering these are the same height of as the RGB versions at 42.88 mm tall.
