Lexar ARES RGB DDR5-6000 Memory Overview
Taking a first look at the memory it looks very much like the non-RGB version with its very attractive dark grey heatspreaders. It is unclear if Lexar will be offering this memory in other colors, their ARES DDR4 did come in a white version.
The heatspreaders look quite good as they have a Lexar logo in the center, they say “DDR5” towards the bottom left, and there are grey accents on each side. There is also an ARES logo towards the the top, which is part of the RGB diffuser.
Flipping the memory over it does have the same design on the back, but you will find a small sticker which gives you all of your relevant information on the kit. Again this is a 32GB (2x16GB) kit running at 6000 MHz with timings of 34-38-38-76 at 1.3V.
The top section of the memory of course has a diffuser, which is translucent. There are no logos or anything like that, which I actually like quite a lot. For those wondering at its highest point we measured this memory at 42.8mm.
