Kingston Fury Renegade Gen4 Solid State Drive Review

Kingston Fury Renegade Gen4 Solid State Drive Kingston Fury Renegade Gen4 Solid State Drive

It has been quite a while since we’ve reviewed a internal solid state drive from Kingston. Well, they recently introduced the Fury Renegade, which is a Gen4 NVMe solid state drive that boasts sequential read and write speeds of 7300 MB/s and 7000 MB/s respectively. This is made possible by Kingston’s use of the Phison E18 controller teamed with 176-layer TLC NAND. Kingston will be offering this drive either with a heatsink or just a plain drive. This way if you have M.2 heatsinks on your motherboard you don’t have to worry about taking the heatsink apart and if you plan to install this drive in your PlayStation 5 you’ll be covered as well. Let’s get this drive installed and see what it can do!

Special thanks to Kingston for sending over the Fury Renegade Gen4 Solid State Drive to review.
