If you didn’t know our first DDR5 memory kit that we ever reviewed was from Crucial. It was their DDR5-4800 32GB kit which of course ran at the JEDEC speeds of 4800 MHz back in 2022. Since then Crucial has put out many different DDR5 kits, but for the most part they were JEDEC kits. Recently Crucial released their Pro Overclocking memory, which you might think is specifically made for overclocking, but is just called that because you need to enable its XMP or EXPO profile for it to run at its advertised speeds. We will of course see if we can push these modules past that. Initially Crucial only had these kits in black, but today they are launching then in a very attractive white for all of those white builds out there! We are specifically taking a look at the CP2K16G60C36U5W which is a 32GB (2x16GB) kit that runs at 6000 MHz with timings of 36-38-38-80 at 1.35V. Let’s take a look and see what these modules can do!
Special thanks to Crucial for providing us with the Pro Overclocking Edition DDR5-6000 32GB Memory Kit to review.

Packaging
The Crucial Pro Overclocking Edition DDR5 memory will come in a retail blister pack. It lets us take a look at the memory and lets us know the capacity, speed, and that the memory features both XMP and EXPO profiles. The back of the package has more information on the memory itself.
Opening the blister pack up all you’ll find is your two modules, nicely protected of course.
