While many people think DDR4’s days are numbered that is just not the case as Intel’s next-generation Raptor Lake processors are still going to support DDR4. Lexar has recently introduced their new ARES RGB memory which is very much like their ARES DDR5, except this time we get some pretty sweet RGB lighting. Today we will be taking a look at the only kit Lexar is offering with this memory which is a 16GB (2x8GB) kit running at 4000 MHz with timings of 18-22-22 at 1.4V. Let’s take a look and see what this memory is all about.
Special thanks to Lexar for providing us with the ARES RGB DDR4-4000 16GB Memory Kit to review.
