CPU Testing
Our first benchmarking program is AIDA 64. It has many different CPU benchmarks, the first one we will be running is the CPU Queen. Higher scores are better.
Up next we have the ZLib test. Again higher scores are better here.
The x265 Benchmark 5.0 encodes a 1080p video segment into the new H.265 / HEVC format. There are four total runs. We average the 4 runs to give you what you see below. Obviously lower encoding times are better.
The Persistence of Vision Raytracer is a high-quality, Free Software tool for creating stunning three-dimensional graphics. POV-Ray includes a standard benchmark scene. We run the multi-threaded or All CPU benchmark. The benchmark gives us the elapsed time in seconds it takes to complete the rendering of the scene. Lower times are better here.
Up next us CINEBENCH R20. Cinebench is a real-world cross-platform test suite that evaluates your computer’s hardware capabilities. Improvements to Cinebench Release 20 reflect the overall advancements to CPU and rendering technology in recent years, providing a more accurate measurement of Cinema 4D’s ability to take advantage of multiple CPU cores and modern processor features available to the average user.
