Last year I found my favorite keyboard ever, the iQunix F96. I was instantly attracted to it with its unique form factor as well as colorway. I liked the keyboard so much I ended up getting a second one so I could use it on my test bench. Well iQunix is back with a new set of keyboards in their 80 series. These are wireless mechanical keyboards have an 80% (87-key) layout, unique colorways, hot-swappable switches, PBT keycaps, and a very interesting design. Today we have the A80 Explorer which has a slate blue, yellow, and white colorway that not only is on the keycaps, but the casing as well. This keyboard is definitely going to draw attention to your desk, but how does it perform? Let’s take a look!

Packaging
One thing that I love about iQunix is their packaging, it matches their products perfectly. So the A80 Explorer comes in a nice retail box that matches the color of the keyboard. On the front there is a picture of the keyboard itself and on the back we have a couple more pictures with a list of features and specifications.
Opening the box and getting everything out besides the keyboard you also get a user’s guide, Type-C to Type-A USB cable, extra keycaps for Mac users, a 2.4 GHz wireless receiver, keycap and switch puller, a cleaning brush, and a set of iQunix stickers. It is quite nice to have a braided USB cable that matches the keyboard exactly, not just something plain white or black. Kudos to iQunix for paying attention to detail here.
