When it comes to full-size gaming keyboards things can get expensive, typically if you want to go the mechanical route you are likely going to be spending anywhere from $150-200. Even if you create an llc and expense the keyboards they can be costly. In the world of non-mechanical full-size keyboards things are very limited. Half the time these keyboards do not offer proper backlighting or software. Well one of Corsair’s latest gaming keyboards hopes to bring you everything you would expect from a high-end keyboard, just without the mechanical switches. I am talking about the Corsair K55 RGB Pro XT which offers membrane switches, per-key RGB backlighting, six dedicated macro keys that can work with Elgato’s stream deck application, dedicated multimedia keys, spill resistance, and proper support through iCUE. At only $59.99 at our favorite online retailer this could be the best budget full-size keyboard out there.
Special thanks to Corsair for providing us with the K55 RGB Pro XT Gaming Keyboard to review.
