I am a huge fan of fast portable storage. I am always editing video on the go and you need a fast and reliable drive for that. Patriot’s latest portable solid state drive is their Transporter, which is a USB 3.2 gen 2 drive so that is going to give you speed of up to to 1000 MB/s. This drive is one of the thinnest I’ve seen, which makes it quite easy to throw in your pocket. If you are looking for portable storage is this a drive you should pick up? Read on as we find out!

Packaging
The Transporter comes in a nice retail box. On the front we have a picture of the drive and it does let us know the capacity, which in our case is 2TB. You can also pick the drive up in 512GB, 1TB, and 4TB versions. Flipping over to the back we have a QR code that will give us more information on the drive.
Getting everything out of the box we have the Transporter drive as well as USB cable. The cable is a USB-C to USB-C, but it does have a Type-A adapter on the end.
