AOC has been making monitors for a very long time. When they started offering gaming-specific monitors they went under the AGON brand and now we have AGON Pro as well as AOC Gaming. AOC Gaming sits as the entry-level tier when it comes to gaming monitors. Entry-level is never a bad thing as we’ve seen from other more affordable displays. Many displays have features and addons that you simply won’t use so why pay for them? Today we are checking out the AOC C32G2ZE, which is a 32-inch, 1920 x 1080 VA panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate, 0.5ms response time (MPRT), and a 1500R curve. Could this be the no frills gaming monitor you need? Let’s find out!
Special thanks to AOC providing us with the C32G2ZE 32-inch 240 Hz Gaming Monitor to review.

Packaging
The AOC C32G2ZE comes in your typical monitor retail box with the same picture of the monitor on each side. On the side of the box some of the main features are listed.
Opening the box up the monitor is nicely protected inside. There are directions on the box itself on how to remove the display from the box and how to install the stand. Most displays do not ship with their stands installed, but this one is very easy to install. With the display either still sitting in the packaging or on a desk face-down find the main top part of the stand. Easily attach it to the back of the monitor, it will clip right in. Then take the bottom part (feet) of the stand and line it up with the top part of the stand. Screw it into place with the screw on the bottom of the feet.
Also included with the display is a DisplayPort cable, HDMI cable, power cable, and quick start guide.
