Speck AftPack Overview
The AftPack is of course a backpack and has the same Restart Greyscale Pixel design as both the CorePack Fly and the PortPack. It also comes in Coffeehouse Brown Plaid and Speakeasy Grey Pinstripe.
On the front of the bag there is a small Speck Logo. There is a large pocket on the front of the bag that is Velcro and is secured with a large buckle.
Looking at the side of the bag you can see it is not the largest backpack, but certainly large enough to hold a lot of gear. On the side of the front pocket there is an expandable pocket where you can put a water bottle.
Moving around back you can see the 2 straps. These straps are nicely padded and behind them is vented body padding that should make carrying the AftPack around very comfortable.
Opening the front compartment there is an organizer on the front of the compartment with 2 smaller pockets, 2 pen holders and another larger pocket. The front compartment is very large and padded. Once again it has the neon green interior styling that we saw on the other bags from Speck. This not only looks cool, but makes it easier for you to find things in the bag.
When you open up the main compartment you will notice that it is separated into 2 sections. One for storage and the other is the laptop compartment. The laptop compartment is extra-plush padded micro-fleece so it will protect your laptop very well. On the other side of the main compartment is a small compartment for accessories. Also on the back of the bag there is access to the laptop compartment, very cool.
Like all other Speck bags the carry handle is hidden. It is in a zippered pocket on the top of the bag.
