CorePack Fly Overview
The CorePack Fly is your typical messenger bag. We received the “Restart Greyscale Pixel” version of the CorePack Fly. It is a very attractive design with sqaure blocks colored in 3 different styles of grey. Speck also makes this bag in another style which they call Speakeasy Grey Pinstripe.
The front of the bag is pretty plain, there is a small Speck logo on the right side of the bag. To get inside the main compartment of the bag there is a large clip that easily unlocks.
When you open the CorePack Fly up your will notice the very bright lime colored inside. I really like contrasting colors on bags. The man compartment is quite large and can fit anything from accessories to text books. There is a pocket divider inside to keep things organized and another hanging pocket which also can be used for accessories.
When you open up the main flap of the bag there are also 3 velcro pouches on the front of the bag and 2 pen holders. There is another large pocket on the front of the bag that is seperated into 2 sides. When you open it up you will find a connected keyring inside.
On the right side of the bag there is a zipper that allows you to fit a water bottle in the side of the bag. The back part of the bag can actually be opened up so you can slide it over large handles that might be on luggage for easier traveling.
The back part of the bag is actually the laptop compartment. The CorePack Fly will fit laptops up to 15-inches. Both sides of the laptop compartment are reinforced and Speck uses an extra-plush micro-fleeced material on the inside to protect your laptop.
