Packaging
The C5400X comes in a standard retail package with a large image of the router itself on the front of the box. Besides the standard product name and a slogan of “Dominate The Competition”, the front of the box lists a few of the notable features found on the router, and a cool arrowhead and controller logo is paired with a not that this product is from the Archer Gaming Division.
The backside of the box goes into a bit more detail with some of the router’s features, which is really helpful for potential buyers that may not be aware of the advantages of things like link aggregation and airtime fairness.
With the outer cover removed, and the inner box opened up, we get our first glimpse of the C5400X. The router is packed nicely in a molded cardboard structure, along with the unit’s power supply and additional accessories.
Accessories
Speaking of accessories, the Archer C5400X comes packaged with a very basic Quick Installation Guide, an external power supply, a single Ethernet cable, and eight antennas.
