Using the FlexiSpot Pro Plus Standing Desk
Once I had the desk assembled I went and added all of my gear back to the desk. Here is what my final setup looks like, I am quite happy with it. The desk supports up to 355 lbs, which is quite a lot so even if you have a super-heavy PC you shouldn’t have to worry at all.
The desk itself does include two pre-drilled cable routing holes, but they do not have any type of insert that we’ve seen on previous desks we’ve reviewed. Looking at the configuration on the FlexiSpot website there is not even an option for that. I did opt for the bamboo curved desk, which only has a slight curve in it. I really like this compared to my first ever standing desk, which has a extremely large and pronounced curve in it.
Cable organization is a big thing when it comes to your desk setup. I do like that FlexiSpot has included a middle channel cover that helps you hide some cables. Now they do offer different cable management solutions when you buy your desk, but I opted for one from SteelCase. It worked out alright, but I’m not really sure I would recommend it. I would however recommend the larger cable organization clips you can pick up on Amazon.
I am really glad I selected the bamboo tabletop as it looks absolutely amazing! The contrast between it and the other components on my desk is quite nice and is much better than the plain white desk I was using previously.
The best thing about this desk is that it is a sit-stand desk that is fully motorized. The controller that we installed during our assembly makes adjusting the desk quite easy. The full range of the desk is 22.8″ to 48.4″, which should be more than adequate for most people. If you are a taller person they do offer their high frame which goes from 25.6″ to 52.4″. On the controller you’ll find up and down arrows that make it easy to move the desk up and down, as you are adjusting the desk there is a little LCD that shows the exact height you are on. There is also an “M” button that allows you to save your height adjustments. There are four total positions you can save, you have 1 & 2 as well as icons for sitting and standing. On the side of the controller there is a powered USB-A port that supports QC 3.0, which is a nice little add-on.
