Building a PC can be a daunting task to some and others might not have the time to wait for certain components to come in. This is where a pre-built system makes a lot of sense. Pre-built gaming PCs are nothing new, but lately we’ve seen some of our favorite component brands offer some really interesting pre-built gaming PCs. One such brand is MSI and today we are taking a look at their MEG Trident X2 which is loaded with the latest hardware, has a really unique chassis design, and even comes with a neat touchscreen that you can configure with their software! If you are considering a pre-built is this one that should be on your list? Read on as we find out!
Special thanks to MSI for providing us with the MEG Trident X2 Gaming PC to review.
Specifications
MSI is currently offering the Trident X2 in 3 different models and we have the highest spec’d model which is the TriX213NUI001. Below are its specifications.
Packaging
The MEG Trident X2 came to us directly from MSI. Even though it was shipped in another larger box the main retail box was a bit beat up. The box itself is all black and has the MEG logo on it and lets us know that we do have the Trident X2.
Opening this box up we find out system nicely protected with large thick pieces of foam and in is inside a fabric bag.
The system does come with a box of accessories which includes a power cable, some extra screws, extra hard drive rails, expansion slot covers, an RGB extension cable, extra power supply connectors, a cleaning cloth, and a user’s guide.
