This generation of gaming laptops should not be overlooked. With NVIDIA’s new RTX 40 series discrete mobile graphics cards you really can have a powerful laptop system that can play games at high frame rates and be an all-around great desktop replacement. On top of that these systems aren’t necessarily massive, like their predecessors. Today we are taking a look at the Gigabyte AORUS 16X (AORUS 16X ASG 2024), which is a 16-inch laptops that features a WQXGA (2560×1600) 165 Hz display and packs in an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU, 32GB of DDR5 memory, a Gen4x4 NVMe SSD, Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 7 and so much more! This is my first time actually reviewing an AORUS laptop so I am excited to take a look!

Packaging of the Gigabyte AORUS 16X
The AORUS 16X comes in a pretty plain box that simply says AORUS in the center. Opening the box up inside we do find the laptop itself and its power adapter, which is quite large and is a 240W unit. *Do note that our sample of this laptop is a review sample and had been previously opened and used so this is not a real representation of what all comes with the laptop.
