Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 4 Review

Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 4 Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 4

When you hear “mobile workstation” you really don’t think of something thin and light. I know the mobile workstations I’ve used in the past have been a bit clunky as they are really made for performance over portability. Well Lenovo wants to change that with their ThinkPad P14s Gen 4, which they tout as their lightest mobile workstation at only 2.97 lbs. With an Intel Core i7-1370P vPro processor, NVIDIA RTX A500 GPU, 64GB of DDR5 memory, and 1TB M.2 SSD under the hood, this mobile workstation can definitely handle intensive tasks, while still being able to fit comfortably in your backpack. Let’s take a look and see what this laptop can do! If you are looking to protect the ThinkPad P14s be sure to check out our best laptop backpacks guide for 2024!

Special thanks to Lenovo for sending over their ThinkPad P14s Gen 4 laptop to review.

Packaging of the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 4

The ThinkPad P14s Gen 4 will come in a Lenovo’s standard laptop packaging, which is not much to write home about. It is just a box that is not much larger than the laptop itself. On the side we can see all of the specifications of our unit.

Opening the box up inside we find the ThinkPad P14s Gen 4, the power adapter, and a user’s guide. The power adapter is a 100W unit and is actually not all that larger for its wattage.
