At the same event where Zotac showed us their new VR GO Backpack they unveiled their latest flagship graphics card, the GeForce GTX 1080 ArcticStorm Thermaltake 10 Year Anniversary Edition. This card features a full-coverage waterblock designed by Thermaltake. This card has a newly designed PCB with a 16 phase power design (instead of the traditional 8+2 power phase) on the board.
As far as specifications go this card has a dual-BIOS so you have a base clock speed of 1632 core with a GPU boost up to 1771 MHz, the second BIOS has a base clock speed of 1657 MHz with a GPU Boost up to 1797 MHz. BIOS switching can be done via Zotac’s FIRESTORM app or by a switch on the board itself. The water block covers the entire card and has typical G1/4 fittings. There is also a full backplate that features both the Zotac and Thermaltake logos.
One of the big features of this card is the SPECTRA RGB lighting system. This combination of RGB LEDs fully illuminate and outline the card. They had one on display and it looks pretty awesome! Display outputs on the card include three DisplayPort, one HDMI, and one DVI. No word yet on pricing, but expect this card to carry a hefty premium over Zotac’s stock GTX 1080.
