SilverStone’s RVZ01 case has been quite popular for the company and they are following it up with the RVZ02. If you know about the RVZ01, you know it is an extremely small and compact case. Well SilverStone was able to make the RVZ02 even smaller! It has a volume of only 10 liters compared to the 14 liters of the RVZ01.
Besides just making the case smaller SilverStone has added some newer features like windows that will show off your installed graphics card and your motherboard. And the side panels of the case are interchangeable so you don’t have to remember which one is which. On the front of the case you will find a hidden compartment that houses two USB 3.0 ports and HD audio connections.
Moving to the inside of the case SilverStone has made it even easier for you to do your installation my making graphics card and SSD installation much easier. Talking about graphics cards this small case can fit a dual-slot graphics card up to 11.5-inches long, so you will have no problem getting a GTX 980 in there. The RVZ02 is expected to launch in the second quarter of this year, no word on pricing.
SilverStone also showed us an updated version of the RVZ01 that they are calling the FTZ01, with “FT” standing for fortress. Unlike the original version the FTZ01 is made of solid aluminum and has a great look to it. The FTZ01 will launch later this month with an asking price of $129.
