Typically when it comes to ASUS products we are taking a look at a motherboard or graphics card, but recently we took a look at their ROG Azoth Gaming Keyboard and were quite impressed. I think mainly people think about ASUS for those core components like graphics cards and motherboards, but don’t necessarily think of them when it comes to accessories. After being impressed with the ROG Azoth I was pretty excited when they offered up the new ROG Delta II gaming headset for review as it would give me a chance to see what ASUS is doing in the gaming headset space. The ROG Delta II will sit as the current flagship gaming headset from ASUS and is a tri-mode wireless gaming headset that makes use of ROG SpeedNova wireless tech, 50mm titanium-plated diaphragm drivers, a removable 10 mm super-wideband boom microphone, up to 110-hour battery life with quick charge, and a lightweight 318g design. Let’s jump in and see what this headset is all about!
Special thanks to ASUS for providing us with the ROG Delta II Gaming Headset to review!

Packaging of the ASUS ROG Delta II Gaming Headset
The ROG Delta II comes in pretty standarding retail packaging from ASUS. On the front there is a picture of the headset and some of the main features are listed. Flipping over to the back many more features are detailed and we get a full list of what comes in the box.
Getting everything out of the box we have the headset itself, an extra set of earcups, detachable microphone, USB cable, 3.5mm audio cable, wireless dongle, a quick start guide, and a user’s guide. When it comes to the two sets of earcups, ASUS ships the headset with the heavier ROG leather ones attached and the extra set is their ROG hybrid fabric, which is more breathable and likely better if you are someone who wears glasses. The wireless dongle is pretty small and is USB-C, but ASUS does include a Type-C to Type-A adapter on the charging cable so you are covered if you don’t have a Type-C available. The wireless dongle will work with PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Mac. If you are an Xbox user you’ll have to use the headset wired with the 3.5mm cable.
