AOC 16T3E Portable Monitor Overview
At first glance the 16T3EA looks like your standard portable monitor. I did notice that it does have pretty thick bezels compared to some of the other portable monitor’s I’ve taken a look at lately.
On the left side of the monitor we have our only connection, which is USB-C. Having a single connection means that your host device will provide both power and data through the USB-C cable for the monitor. This is great as some portable monitors have 2 USB-C connections with one being explicitly for power. Now we do not have a mini-HDMI connection either so this is not a display that you can connect to something like a game console.
On the top-edge of the display we have a power button as well as three other buttons for going through the menus and a simple activity LED to let you know the monitor is powered on.
The back of the monitor is actually quite interesting. First it has a pretty sleek design with dots and the AOC logo. Then we have the VESA mount towards the top. The cool thing is that we actually get two stands. They are built into the back of the monitor so we have a larger one to use the display in landscape mode and a smaller one to use the display in portrait.
