A Look Inside The Tower 300 Case

Getting inside The Tower 300 is quite easy. Just press in on the front tempered glass panel and it will release. From there you can easily pull off the other two smaller panels. With the panels removed we can get a look inside.

As you can see we have an inverted motherboard layout as our motherboard tray has been rotated 90-degrees. This means that when you install your motherboard the rear I/O ports will be facing up towards the top of the case. Talking about motherboards this case will support both Mini-ITX and Micro-ATX motherboards. At the top of the case you will find 4 expansion slot covers. If you are wondering about graphics card support The Tower 300 will support 4-slot cards as long as 400mm.

Looking down into the case there is a sort of power supply cover, which is ventilated. It actually is a fan mount as well, supporting either a 120mm or 140mm fan. We can also see why Thermaltake did not make this cover go across the entire bottom of the case. This is so you would have room for long graphics cards as well as radiators up to 420mm. You can remove this cover to access your power supply and other cables you might be hiding in the bottom section of the case.

The two side panels of the case are held into place with magnets so they are quite easy to remove. Once removed we can see that they each have filters built into them. The right side of the case has a removable cooling bracket built into it. This bracket will support three 120mm or 140mm fans or radiators up to 420mm.

On the same side as that cooling bracket there is a small removable storage mount that will support either a single 2.5-inch SSD or 3.5-inch hard drive.

The back of the case can easily be removed as well. Once removed we find another storage bracket that supports two 2.5-inch SSDs or two 3.5-inch hard drives. This bracket can easily be removed from the case for easy installation of your drives. We also find plenty of routing holes as well as tie-down points.
