General Usage & Performance of the Fractal Design Mood
When you power your system on you’ll notice the power button lights up white. Also if you have any RGB lighting on your motherboard or memory you’ll be able to see it through the front of the case if you don’t have it covered up by a radiator.
To give you an idea of the size of the case here it is sitting on my desk. For reference the monitor is a 24-inch monitor. All of your cables get routed out of the back of the case so things remain quite tidy.
Here is a breakdown of the hardware in our mini-ITX build.
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550i AORUS PRO AX
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super Gaming OC
Memory: G.SKILL Trident Z Royal DDR4-3200 16GB
Storage: Samsung 870 EVO Solid State Drive
We will be using AIDA64 for temperature readings and a RisePro Sound Level Meter to record sound levels. Sound levels are taken 5 inches from each side of the case as well as from the top.
Idle readings are taken on the Windows 10 desktop after the system has been on for 1 hour. Load readings are taken using AIDA64’s system stability test with both the CPU and GPU selected.
