Last year when we took a look at the Corsair Crystal Series 280X the big question was, when will be see a larger version? It did take Corsair a while to come out with the larger version, but we’ve finally got it in to review! The Crystal Series 680X is the big brother to the 280X and gives you support for larger motherboards up to E-ATX, more cooling options, a redesigned tempered glass side panel, and three included Corsair LL120 RGB fans as well as the Node Pro so you can control the fan lighting with Corsair’s iCUE software. Is this the tempered glass case to get in 2019? Read on as we find out!

Packaging
The Crystal Series 680X comes in Corsair’s typical case packaging, which is a heavy cardboard box with an illustration of the case on the front. Flipping over to the back there is an exploded view of the case showing all of the different parts.
Opening the box up you’ll find a magnetic filter for the top of the case and the instructions. The case is well protected by two large pieces of styrofoam and a cloth cover. All of the tempered glass panels have protection on them all well. We received the case without any scratches or damage.
