Elgato, a brand of CORSAIR, today shared new additions to its Wave audio line, expanding both hardware and software capabilities. Unveiled earlier today at TwitchCon, Wave Mic Arm Pro is an ultra-premium boom with smooth movement and a low profile, ideal for professional recording. Elgato also debuted Wave Desk Stand, a portable studio arm for mounting mics and accessories onto any flat surface, like podcasting tables. Together, they round out the brand’s audio lineup, offering a versatile range of mounting options to fit any setup.
Additionally, Elgato revealed Wave Link 2.0, a major update to its flagship mixing app. Coming soon on PC and Mac, it introduces one-click audio routing and fast Stream Deck setup, making it easier than ever for creators to manage their sound.
According to Julian Fest, General Manager of Elgato, great audio is about more than just gear. “We believe software should be just as innovative as the equipment it supports,” says Fest. “Today, we’re proud to offer creators the complete package. Industry-leading hardware to position mics perfectly, plus intuitive app control to sound their best.”
Creators can order Wave Mic Arm Pro and Wave Desk Stand today on Elgato’s webstore, with availability soon at authorized retailers worldwide. For Windows users, Wave Link 2.0 is available now in public beta, with a macOS version on the way.
Introducing Wave Mic Arm Pro
The all-new Mic Arm Pro takes top spot in Elgato’s Wave mount lineup. It’s engineered to meet the needs of studio production, perfectly at home in high-end setups.
Mic Arm Pro features a low-profile design that lifts microphones from below, keeping views unobstructed. It’s also equipped with gas-spring suspension, meaning movement is smoother and quieter than ever. There’s no need to adjust knobs or screws—set the counterbalance once and enjoy endless maneuverability.
With a robust, all-metal build, Mic Arm Pro supports up to 3 kg / 6.6 lbs, holding even the heaviest microphones stable. Choose a black or white finish, and later this fall, customize it further with hinge caps in multiple colors. Hidden, magnetic cable channels and a foldaway design ensure desks stay clear and clutter-free.
Wave Desk Stand
For creators on the move or on a budget, Wave Desk Stand offers incredible value at just $59.99. It’s ultra-flexible like a boom arm, yet easy to pick up and reposition—ideal for podcasting environments.
Compact and versatile, Wave Desk Stand mounts on any flat surface, from countertops to coffee tables. It’s made for microphones, but supports cameras and lighting accessories too, with extra adapters to fit most gear.
With three pivot points and 360-degree rotation, Wave Desk Stand helps creators maneuver mics into the perfect position. It’s solid-metal and sturdy to support heavy equipment up to 1 kg / 2.2 lbs without tipping. It even has cable ties to keep workspaces tidy and organized.
A New Era For Wave Link
With the upcoming Wave Link 2.0 update, managing and mixing audio has never been easier.
Smarter Audio Routing
Now, Windows users can enjoy the same seamless audio routing as those on macOS. With a single click, add an app like Discord or Spotify to any input channel. Wave Link automatically captures your app audio, eliminating the need to adjust Windows settings. Plus, Wave Link remembers your setup, so you won’t need to reconfigure after updates.
On both Windows and macOS, you can even group multiple apps—such as your games—into a single channel for easier management. To help visualize your setup, Wave Link now displays an icon for each app assigned to a channel. Altogether, these enhancements expand and simplify audio routing, making it accessible for users at any skill level.
Add to Stream Deck
For Stream Deck users, Wave Link 2.0 transforms your device into an audio controller in just a few clicks. Select the Add to Stream Deck button to send your Wave Link configuration directly to Stream Deck. In moments, your device fills automatically with actions tailored to your setup, all in a brand new profile. It’s the fastest, easiest way to control your audio, and it supports all the latest Stream Deck models.
Sound Check
Now there’s an easy way for users to fine-tune their audio effects, like equalizers or noise removal. With Sound Check, simply open your microphone’s effects panel and record a short sample. Wave Link will then process and play back your audio through any active VSTs, just as listeners would hear it. This helps you quickly preview and adjust your sound when changing mics or environments.
In all, Wave Link 2.0 represents a major milestone for the app, building upon an already-robust feature set that includes VST effects and Stream Deck control.
