The last time we took a look at some portable storage from Crucial it was their X6 and X8 portable solid state drives. These were USB 3.2 gen 1 and USB 3.2 gen 2 drives respectively and were quite good drives. I actually use the X8 on a daily basis as an editing drive for video. Well Crucial has revamped their portable storage line with the release of their X9 Pro and X10 Pro solid state drives. These two drives are USB 3.2 gen 2 and USB 3.2 gen 2×2 respectively and feature a new design. Today we are taking a look at the X10 Pro drive which offers speeds of up to 2100 MB/s read and 2000 MB/s write, has an IP55 rating, and comes with a 5-year warranty. Is this going to be my new go-to portable drive? Read on as we find out!
Special thanks to Crucial for providing us with the X10 Pro Portable Solid State Drive to review.
