YEYIAN Sigurd 4000 Overview
Taking a first look at the monitor it sort of has that standard gaming monitor look with an all matte black design. There is a small YEYIAN logo on the bottom bezel towards the center.
Moving over from the center of the bottom bezel to the right you’ll find five buttons that sit under the bezel which you’ll use to turn the monitor on and configure it. These are labeled on the front of the bezel.
The display itself is a 34-inch VA panel with a 1500R curve. It has a maximum resolution of 3440 x 1440, 165 Hz refresh rate, a 1ms(MPRT) response time, 350 nits brightness, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and a horizonal / vertical viewing angle of 178°. The bezel here are pretty thin, for the top and sides you are at 9mm, while the larger bottom bezel is 17mm.
The stand of the monitor is made up of two legs that come out in a sort of “V” position to support the display. The stand offers height adjustment, allows you to tilt the display, and offers swivel adjustment. You can see the different orientations in the photos below.
Moving around to the back of the display there is a large YEYIAN logo on one side and then a sort of start shaped lighting section. This lighting can be controlled via the monitors OSD. Unfortunately it is only red and the only real option you get is for it to be always on, off, or blinking.
As far as connection on the monitor go you have two HDMI 2.0, two DisplayPort 1.4, a 3.5mm audio out, and finally a standard power connection.
