Gigabyte entered the monitor space not all that long ago with their AORUS gaming monitors. One thing that really separated Gigabyte monitors from others was that they provided software to make adjustments to the display, which if you’ve ever tried to changed settings on a monitor you know how frustrating that can be. Software just makes the process so much easier. On top of that their monitors has been pretty solid across the board. Today we are taking a look at their G27Q which is a 27-inch 1440p (2560 x 1440) display, featuring an IPS panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, support for AMD FreeSync Premium, and much more! The display comes in at a very attractive $289.99 as well. Let’s take a look and see what it is all about!

Packaging
The G27Q comes in a typical monitor retail box. On the front we have a sketch of the monitor itself and it lets us know some of the main features. Moving around back we have almost the same thing except we get a picture of the monitor.
Opening the box up we find the monitor and accessories nicely protected. As far as accessories go you have an AC adapter, power cables for 3 different countries, USB cable, DisplayPort cable, HDMI cable, and a user’s guide.
The bottom part of the stand does not come attached to the display itself, but it is a pretty simple process to get it installed. Just line it up with the main part of the stand and screw in the attached screw on the bottom.
