XPG, the gaming-focused branch of ADATA, is well known for their memory and storage products, but did you know that they also produce gaming peripherals like keyboards and mice? For our first look at an XPG gaming peripheral, ADATA sent over their INFAREX K20 gaming keyboard for review. The K20 features a 104-key design housed in a very sturdy body, along with illuminated mechanical key switches. Let’s not waste any more time, and get this review under way.

Special thanks to ADATA and XPG for providing us with the INFAREX K20 review sample!

Packaging

The INFAREX K20 came packaged in a standard retail box, with a mostly matte finish and glossy image of the keyboard. A small image at the bottom right of the box indicates the presence of Kailh Blue mechanical switches.

The back of the box shows a top-down view of the K20, and highlights a few of the keyboard’s features.

Keeping the INFAREX K20 in place is a folded cardboard insert, which works quite well, though it doesn’t protect the keyboard as well as some of the foam solutions we have seen. The keyboard is also wrapped in a plastic cover for additional cosmetic protection.
