Setup & Usage
When you first turn the camera on you will need to set the time and date etc. After that you are ready to start shooting. On the screen your will see the mode that you are in, the battery level, what resolution you are shooting in and how many available photos you have to take. When you press down on the shutter button you are shown the ISO and F-stop parameters. Also the camera will show you what it is focusing on. All you have to do is press down a little harder on the shutter button and you have your first photo.
The camera will automatically be in auto mode but there are also 18 other shooting modes. Just press the green button to select the mode you want to shoot in. Available modes include scene auto select, portrait, landscape, sports, night portrait, party / indoor, beach / snow, sunset, dusk / dawn/ night landscape, close-up, food, museum, fireworks show, copy, backlight, panorama assist, and smart portrait. You can also select video mode.
If you go in to the camera settings you can change the image mode, white balance, ISO sensitivity, color options, and auto focus area. The camera allows you to shoot in 12MP, 8MP, 5MP, 3MP, PC Screen (1024), TV Screen (640) and 16:9 (3968). You can shoot video at 640 x 480 or 320 x 240.
So let’s go shooting! I took this camera to a nearby park and shot a bunch of photos. The camera was set on auto the entire time.
