FlexiSpot C7 Ergonomic Office Chair Overview
To start things off there are a few different versions of the C7 Ergonomic Office Chair. We have the Foam version, specifically the C7G-Foam. This version features the foam seat and has a two-tone color design with the backrest being grey and the seat and rest of the chair being black. FlexiSpot also offers the foam version of the C7 in an all black version.
The backrest of the chair makes use of high quality mesh. While many of you might be used to thicker foam on gaming chairs mesh is actually very comfortable and conforms to your body quite well. On top of that it is breathable which is good if it happens to get hot where you are working. The backrest is made up of 3 sections, your headrest, back support, and lumbar support. The entire backrest can tilt back up to 115 degrees.
The headrest can be adjusted up or down as well as be angled forward or back.
Coming down to the lumbar support it has a very pronounced curve shape that is made to support your lower back. The cool thing about the lumbar support is that you can set it to by dynamic so it moves with your body. This gives you constant support no matter what. You can either lock the lumbar support or set it in dynamic mode by the large lever on the right side of the chair.
The seat of the chair is made of 6-inch thick foam, which is very comfortable to sit on, even during those long gaming / work sessions. The seat itself can be adjusted forward or back, but also angled forward. For those wondering this chair supports up to 300 lbs in weight.
The armrests are made of a sort of soft-touch rubber and are pretty comfortable. They are 4D armrests, so they can be moved up and down by pressing on a button under them. You can also adjust them forward or back or angle them in or out.
We’ve already gone over the controls for the lumbar support, but you’ll find the rest of your controls below the seat. On the right side there is a lever at the front that allows you to adjust the height of the chair. On the same pole that has the height adjustment is a knob that you can turn, this will adjust the tension of the back tilt of the chair. There is a second pole on this side, if you press down on it, it will angle the seat forward. Moving over to the other side there is a single pole. Using the lever on it you can adjust the seat forward or backwards. The knob on it will lock and unlock the back tilt of the chair.
Finally at the bottom of the chair we have our base, which is black to match the seat and rest of the chair. Even though we have carpet here in the office the C7 moves around very easily.
