With all of us trying to show off our PC builds we’ve seen cables become a big part of that. While we’ve seen colored and individually sleeved cables, adding lighting to those cables was inevitable. Lian Li was one of the first to do it with their Strimer extension cables and now we have the Strimer Plus V2 cables which give us controllable ARGB lighting. Today we are going to take a look at the Strimer Plus V2 24-pin ATX power extension cable as well as the dual 8-pin PCI-Express power extension cable. Are these what you need to really make your build pop? Read on as we take a look!
Special thanks to Lian Li for providing us with the Strimer Plus V2 ARGB Extension Cables to review.

Packaging
The Strimer Plus V2 cables will come in pretty simple retail boxes. They have small stickers on the front to let you know which cables they are.
On the side of each box is a picture of each cable unless you weren’t sure which cable you were getting.
The 24-pin ATX power extension cable comes with the cable itself, controller, micro-USB to USB 2.0 header adapter, set of white clips (to use instead of the pre-installed black ones), and a user’s guide.
The dual 8-pin PCI-Express power extension cable will not come with a controller so you just get the cable itself, adapter cable (Lian Li proprietary to 3-pin ARGB), set of white clips, and a user’s guide.
