I really love that our phones have become what we can use to create content! No more lugging around a large camera setup! As good as our phones are at video having good audio is equally important. Someone is more likely to still watch a video if the video quality is subpar, but if the audio is bad they will click to the next video. The iPhone audio quality is pretty decent if you are in a room by yourself, but go outside or in a crowded area and it gets bad. That is why I’m glad there are products like the Comica Vimo S MI!
Not only are you going to get great audio quality, but you don’t have to worry about wires either! You are completely wireless which means you can walk away from your phone and pretty far too! With this kit in an open area you can actually go over 600 feet, which is really impressive! Having two microphones and being wireless also means you can easily do interviews. In a loud area? Turn on the denoise setting and it actually works quite well for cutting out background noise!
One thing I really like about this kit is how easy it is to use. Plug the receiver into the bottom of your iPhone, take out the microphones and you are good to go. As soon as you take them out of the charging case they pair so you don’t waste time getting them paired and you never forget to pair them! This is also one of the few wireless microphone kits I’ve seen that allows you to monitor the audio using headphones.
The only thing I really didn’t like about this kit was that the microphones themselves have a glossy finish. If you are recording in the sun this could cause a glare.
