Setup & Usage
Getting the Lark C1 setup and ready to use couldn’t be easier. Just make sure you have the microphones charged, plug in the receiver to the Lightning connection on the bottom of your iPhone, take our the microphones and you are good to go. As soon as you remove the microphone’s from the charging case they will pair with the receiver as long as it is plugged in. The corresponding LEDs on the receiver and microphones will flash when they are not connected and be a solid blue when they are.
The fact that you don’t have to press any button or wait for the microphone’s to be paired really makes run-and-gun shooting possible and just eliminates the time it would take other microphones to connect etc. Now you’ll be good to go once the LEDs on the microphones are a solid blue, but if you wanted to monitor your audio and change settings you can download the LarkSound app. This app is not required for operation, but will allow you to monitor the sound, battery level, and change the noise cancellation level as well as the volume level of the microphones.
So how do the microphone’s sound? Well here is a little sound test I did. Be sure to listen all the way through as I test both strong and weak noise cancellation.
