MSI RadiX AXE6600 Overview
Taking a first look at the RadiX AXE6600 it definitely has a large router shape, but the design is quite aggressive, mirroring that of something like a sportscar. For those wondering the official dimensions are 338 x 224 x 198 mm and it weighs in a 2.5 lbs.
MSI has gone with a sort of gunmetal grey color on the router and while is does not photograph well, it looks pretty awesome! Centrally-located on the router is a MSI dragon logo, which is not only a button, but it will light up as well (more on that in a bit).
Towards the top of the router you’ll find three buttons as well as a covered row of activity LEDs. The buttons are “LED OFF”, “WIFI” and “WPS”.
The router comes with six pre-installed antennas. These antennas are fixed, so unlike other routers you cannot replace them. They do feature RGB lighting, which I think is the reason for them being fixed.
Moving around to the back of the router there is a small reset button, four 1G Ethernet ports, one 2.5G Ethernet port, a USB 3.0 port, power button, and power connection. Flipping over to the bottom of the router there are four rubber feet that will keep it in place as well as all of the information you need to get it up and running.
