Tribit StormBox Flow Overview
The StomBox Flow is your typical sort of rectangular-style Bluetooth speaker. We measured the speaker at 200mm x 48.2mm x 89.9mm (LxWxH), so it is definitely small enough to fit in something like a backpack, but for sure too large to fit in your pocket.
Tribit has designed the speaker so you can have it facing at you for more directed sound, or sitting flat on the ground for more omni-directional sound. Under the hood you will find a single front-firing transducer and dual passive radiators that will fire out of the front and back. The unit has a dark grey color and this is currently the only color available.
Except for the front, the speaker has a soft-touch rubber coating on it, which makes it very easy to pick up. The speaker does have an IP67 rating, which means it is waterproof. This is definitely nice as speakers like this are used a lot at pools and at the beach. The bottom of the speaker has four small rubber feet that will keep it from moving around if you have it placed flat.
At the top of the speaker you are going to find all of your controls. These include a power button, Bluetooth button, volume down button, multi-function button, volume up button, EQ button, and TWS button. The multi-function button allows you to play/pause, skip forward, skip back, answer and hang up calls, and use your voice assistant. The EQ button will cycle through the default sound, XBass mode, and audiobook mode.
On one end of the unit is a USB-C connection. You can use this to charge the speaker, but also to charge other USB-C devices you may have with you. On the other end is a little lanyard that allows you to tie the speaker to something like a backpack.
