Final Thoughts
A portable speaker is a must-have for so many reasons! It is the perfect companion for trips, beach days, and hanging out with friends. It is also something that you might want to have around the house to listen to music and podcasts from room to room. When trying to find the perfect portable speaker there are many boxes that need to be checked and I think the StormBox Flow does just that.
The StormBox Flow is not too large that its hard to take with you places, but also not too small. This means that the speaker is going to give you clear and full sound, which is what we found with the StormBox Flow. For its size I was actually quite impressed with the sound, especially the XBass mode, which really thumps!
The next thing is durability. A portable speaker is likely something you are going to take with you places and accidents are bound to happen. Here we have a nice rugged design and IP67 waterproofing. This means that you can drop the speaker, it can fall in the pool, or you can accidently spill a drink on the speaker and it will be fine. This for sure gives you some piece of mind when using the speaker.
One thing I’ve grown to love about Tribit speakers is that you can use them to charge other devices. Since there is an internal battery you can use the USB-C connection to charge up your phone. So if for some reason you aren’t near a power outlet the speaker can get you all charged up. It is actually surprising at how many other speakers don’t offer this.
If there was anything I didn’t like about this speaker all I have to say it that it is a bit heavier than some of the other speakers I have, but that has a lot to do with the quality and great sound of this speaker.
The StomBox Flow is currently selling at our favorite online retailer for $79.99, which I feel is a very fair price for what you are getting with this speaker. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Tribit StormBox Flow Portable Speaker a 9 out of 10 score!
