Overclocking
The easiest way to overclock on the Intel platform is to simply change the frequency divider in the BIOS. To achieve the best overclock we try to stay with the timings that the XMP profile recommends. If we run into any issues we will bump up the voltage to see if we can get our system to boot and become stable.
The XMP profile puts this kit at 7200 MHz. We were able to get the memory up to 7466 MHz by upping the voltage to 1.50V. After that we tried to go up to 7600, but it seemed not matter what we did the memory would not go above that speed. Even so that is pretty impressive considering the speeds we are running at.
