Crucial T705 Overview
The Crucial T705 essentially is designed the same as the T700 heatsink version. Like I mentioned we have the limited edition version which comes with a white heatsink, which looks great and would be perfect for a white build. I really would have liked to have seen a a white PCB though.
The drive is a M.2 2280 drive so it is 80mm long. On the top of the drive is a Crucial logo and it does let us know we do have the Limited Edition version of the T705.
Flipping the drive over the heatsink does cover the bottom of the drive and there is a sticker with all of your relevant information on it.
When it comes to the heatsink it is passively cooled, so not fan or anything like that. The heatsink fins are designed so air can easily flow through them. The heatsink is 20.5mm at its tallest point, so you are going to want to make sure you have clearance for it.
Under the hood you of course have Phison’s PS5026-E26 controller, 232-Layer Micron TLC NAND, and LPDDR4 DRAM cache.
