Setup & OSD
Getting the Viotek SUW49DA setup is pretty easy, as I mentioned earlier be sure to make sure it will fit on your desk. I am using the Autonomous SmartDesk 2 with the XL top and I was able to fit the monitor as well as my Corsair 680X on it. I have to say this monitor looks pretty amazing all setup!
Once connected the first thing you are going to want to do is make sure the display is running at the correct resolution and refresh rate. Opening the NVIDIA Control Panel we can set our resolution to 5120 x 1440 and our refresh rate to 120 Hz.
This display does support FreeSync and G-SYNC. First you’ll need to enable it in the on-screen menu (under other), then you should see the option pop up under the NVIDIA Control Panel.
The on-screen menu can be accessed using either the remote (pressing the OK button) or by pressing the buttons under the center of the monitor. I really like that Viotek has included a remote with this monitor, it makes changing settings so much easier. The on-screen menu has all of the expected settings.
