Scythe is a name very well known by air cooling fans and enthusiasts. They have been making air coolers for quite a long time and we’ve reviewed many of their coolers in the past. Their Ninja coolers typically have been the top-tier coolers from the company and offer very impressive cooling ability. The new Ninja 5 is no different being one of the largest coolers we’ve seen so far this year. Compared to the Ninja 4 this new version offers two fans instead of one, better memory compatibility, and a new mounting system. Is this the most powerful air cooler around? Read on as we find out!

Scythe has always done a great job with their packaging and the Ninja 5 is no different. On the front there is a photo of the cooler and it lists compatibility. On the back you’ll find information about the warranty in quite a few different languages.
On one side of the box is a list of specifications as well as dimensions of the cooler, definitely good to know considering the size of this cooler. Finally on the last side many of the features of the cooler are detailed.
Getting everything out of the box we have the main heatsink, two fans, mounting hardware, a Y-adapter for the fans, fan clips, a screwdriver, and instructions.
