If I’m being honest while I really love how small from factor system look, building in them just isn’t all that fun. Typically there is not a lot of room inside, you have to figure out what hardware will actually fit and be compatible, and a lot of time you have to make sacrifices. Well today we are taking a look at a case that might change my mind on that. It is the Cooler Master MasterBox NR200P MAX. Notice the “MAX” on the end, this case brings with it a 280mm all-in-one (AiO) liquid CPU cooler, 850W gold certified power supply, and PCIe 4.0 riser cable. So really all you need to worry about is fitting your graphics card, motherboard, memory, and hard drives in this 18.3 liter case.
Special thanks to Cooler Master for providing us with the MasterBox NR200P MAX Mini-ITX Case to review!
Specifications
Packaging
The MasterBox NR200P MAX comes in a pretty sleek retail box from Cooler Master. On the front we have a picture of the case and it does let us know that we have the MAX version. Flipping over to the back there is an exploded picture of the case and some of the main features are detailed.
Opening the box up we find the case inside nicely protected. Besides just the case you’ll also get an optional tempered glass side panel, if you wanted to use that instead of the one that comes on the case, more on that in a bit!
Inside the case you’ll find another box which has the rest of your accessories. You’ll get a power cable, mounting hardware not only for the case, but also for the liquid CPU cooler, a few extra power cables for the included power supply, a PCIe riser cable, and a build guide.
